Dashtrap Plant

A concept for the DashTrap Plant, a demonic plant from the demon realm. Usually inhabiting forested biomes and large plains. These plants spend most of their time buried partially in the ground with their heads aimed up toward the sky, waiting for prey to land on their sweet smelling flowers.

But these demons have the ability of mobility, as when waiting for prey to fall willingly into their mouths goes wrong, or when in danger of predation, these plants are able to burst out of the ground and dash away in a wobbly hopping motion, due to not being able to bend their wooden limbs.

This species varies in size, but most are small. Larger specimens are known to have smaller dashtraps growing them, along with lots of other vegetation depending on their location and biome.
